App Productivity
Use App Productivity to classify applications and websites, define what counts as productive work, and set how productivity is calculated for your company.
Overview
App Productivity has three tabs:

| Categories | Create application categories and assign apps |
| Productivity Definition | Mark apps as Productive, Unproductive, or Neutral |
| Productivity Calculation | Set the productivity formula for your company |
Captured app usage appears in Activities and related Reports. Capture defaults are configured under Company Profile.
How to access
Settings → App Productivity
If you do not see this Settings entry, ask your administrator to review your access.
What you can do
Categories
- Browse, filter, and sort categories
- Create or edit a name, description, and icon
- Assign applications to a category
- Delete a category after confirmation
Productivity Definition
- Filter by organization unit, user, and project
- Move selected apps between Productive, Unproductive, and Neutral
Productivity Calculation
- Choose whether to include productive and/or neutral time
- Choose a calculation basis such as Active Time, Office Time, or Fixed Time
Step-by-step workflow
- Open Settings → App Productivity.
- On Categories, create a category, assign apps, and save.
- On Productivity Definition, set filters and move apps to Productive, Unproductive, or Neutral.
- On Productivity Calculation, set the formula options and save.
- Confirm the classifications in Activities or a Productivity report.
Expected result
Categories appear in the list. Classifications update for the selected scope. After you save the formula, you see Changes added successfully.
Empty category lists show an empty state. Success messages include category added, changes updated, and deleted successfully.
Common validations
