Getting Started

This page walks you through opening In Time PRO Web for the first time, signing in, and completing Quick Start setup for your company.

Overview

Getting Started covers first-time access and company setup. After you sign in, you usually land on the Dashboard. If company setup is incomplete, you are taken to Quick Start.

Quick Start has three required steps:

  • Company Setup (Company Profile)
  • Organization Unit
  • Invite Team

You may also see Account Onboarding when that flow is used during company creation.

How to access

  1. Open the In Time PRO Web address provided by your organization.
  2. Sign in on the Account login screen. See Authentication.
  3. After sign-in, open Dashboard, or wait to be taken there automatically.
  4. If setup is incomplete, Quick Start opens automatically.

You need access to Company Profile, Organization Units, and inviting users to finish setup. Your plan may also limit how many users you can add.

Do not share passwords or one-time codes when inviting users.

What you can do

  • Sign in to the correct company
  • Complete Company Setup and Organization Unit
  • Invite teammates from Quick Start (up to five people on that screen)
  • Continue inviting people later from Settings → Manage Users
  • Complete Account Onboarding when that screen is shown

Cards unlock in order: Company Setup first, then Organization Unit, then Invite Team. When Invite Team is already complete, opening Quick Start returns you to the Dashboard.

Step-by-step workflow

  1. Open the In Time PRO Web address and sign in.
  2. If Quick Start opens, choose Company Setup and complete company information. See Company Profile.
  3. Return to Quick Start, then complete Organization Unit from Settings → Organization Unit.
  4. Open Invite Team.
  5. For each person, enter Employee Id, Employee Full Name, Email Id, User Role, and Login Access.
  6. Choose a role: Admin, Manager, Program Manager, Employee, Contractor, or Accountant.
  7. Choose Login Access: In Time PRO, Google, or Microsoft.
  8. Optionally select Add New User to add another row.
  9. Select Save.

If Account Onboarding is shown, enter organization name, industry, and team size, then save.

Expected result

After a successful sign-in with setup complete, the Dashboard loads. After you save Invite Team from Quick Start, you are taken to the Dashboard. Invited users receive access according to the login method you selected.

Help text on Quick Start explains that Company Profile holds important details about your business, and Organization Unit provides department and employee structure.

A desktop agent download prompt may appear on first login when that option applies.
